Pandemic, mood and social relations

  

Concern and other negative qualifiers take precedence in defining the mood of the population.

The Social Research Centre (CIS) UADE VOICES! conducted a new nationwide public opinion study with the aim of understanding opinions, attitudes and perceptions of Argentines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on society, with special focus on the psychological effects derived from the situation.

Some findings of the study:

  • On a scale of 1 to 10, Argentines rate their mood 5.8 in the last week.
  • Three out of 10 inhabitants admitted to being little or not at all prepared to face the Coronavirus pandemic.
  • Economic needs stand out as the factor with the greatest impact on the lives of Argentines.
