A study on how social organizations went through the pandemic

Banco de Alimentos and Voices! conducted a study aimed at understanding how the pandemic impacted social organizations in AMBA.

The research, conducted among 325 institutions, shows that 6 out of 10 organizations felt overwhelmed as a result of the pandemic and that they are not achieving their goals or are doing so partially. While the demand and frequency of food delivery increased, 7 out of 10 organizations highlight that they lack food.

Despite these complications, most remain optimistic about the challenges ahead and 8 out of 10 say that the pandemic aroused more feelings of solidarity.

The survey was conducted between June and July 2021 among the heads or senior managers of the participating organizations.
