Remote education during preventive and compulsory social isolation

Most school-age children continued their classes in virtual mode during the quarantine.

UADE and Voices! conducted a new nationwide public opinion survey with the aim of understanding opinions, attitudes and perceptions of Argentines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on education, with a special focus on distance education through virtual classes.

Some findings of the study:

  • The lack of the necessary technological means available at home and the lack of motivation of the children were considered the main challenges for the maintenance of the virtual classes.
